John H. Gardiner, Jr. Trophy

Greg Fisher, Annapolis, MD

Greg Fisher has demonstrated superior skill, dedication and initiative to the sport of one design sailing that would place him in a class above all others for the nomination of the John H. Gardiner Jr. Trophy for One-Design Service. His knowledge and expertise with a multitude of one design classes has ensured the success of the one-design sailing community more than for his own desires. He has managed all interactions and has supported through clinics and his own personal time both professionally and expeditiously. Greg’s professional expertise and dedication has demonstrated an unreachable level of the support towards one-design sailing. A diligent worker, his enthusiasm, communication skills, aggressive work ethic and charismatic personality helped ensure the success with others in the following one-design classes; - Snipe - Flying Scot - Int'l 110 - Highlander - Lightning - Thistle - J22 Greg Fisher has been an extremely valuable asset to the one-design sailing community. He has been incredibly instrumental in providing contributory support to one-design sailing. For more year's that I can count on my fingers and toes, Greg Fisher, has exhibited a impeccable level of professionalism, expertise and respect that place him first and foremost for this award.
